HIDDEN KITCHEN WITH CEMENT ISLAND

The central island made of concrete is the backbone of a fully retractable kitchen

Fitted inside Design-Apart, our loft showroom in Manhattan, this composition embodies different ways to interpret the hidden kitchen as a living space. In this composition oak and cement are skilfully mixed to create a combination of materials defining the always linear and very harmonious shapes.

Behind each door, a surprise: by opening and closing the various elements we find, in full view, everything we need in an environment that wants to enhance social happenings.

Everything revolves around the central block in cement: an island that conceals worktops and hobs and that, when needed, turns into a table for informal meals; sink, shelves and wall units hide behind sliding doors that give harmony and movement at the same time to the entire space.
